How difficult is it to remove peel n stick vinyl tiles laid over ceramic tiles without damaging ceramic tiles?
As a tenant in a rental apartment building in Brooklyn NY, I would like to change the bathroom flooring; however, I must be able to leave the apartment in the same condition it was in when I first moved in. I cannot risk damaging the 1 inch tiles- I am assuming they are ceramic, but it really could be any material that was commonly used in post-war buildings. When I eventually leave this apartment and have to remove the vinyl peel n stick tiles, what is the removal process like? Will I be able to remove the vinyl tiles completely without damage to the original flooring? Any information or a point in the right direction will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
