can you calculate the cost of making 10 cards & represent each item of material as a fraction,decimal & percentage of the total cost???? i thought my materials i would need would be 1.card 2. envelope 3. ribbon 4.peel off stickers.

embelishments 35p each X 10 = £3.50
patterned paper 15p a sheet X 10 = £1.50
Total cost of making 10 cards is £8.50.

As we haven't seen the whole question I will assume that you have correctly calculated the costs.
You need to express each element in terms of the total in three ways. To take the first as an example -
As a fraction you get 2.5 / 8.5 which you should reduce to its simplest terms which is 5 / 17.
As a decimal you just divide 2.50 by 8.50. You can use your calculator for that. All four elements should add up to 1 (allowing for any rounding errors).
As a percentage just take the decimal value and multiply by 100. This time the four should add up to 100.
