How do you clean Coach handbags?
I have 2 Coach handbags and I'm wondering about how to clean them. My first one is a small scarf print (fabric but not signature, it's more like satin.) bag and it's quite dirty. I was going to buy the Coach fabric cleaner, but on their website it states that it only cleans the signature print material. How should I clean this?
And my second bag is a Mini-Signature large bucket tote. It has suede on the bottom half of the purse. The material is clean, but the suede is a bit dirty in the corners. On their site, again, it states that the other cleaner is not for suede only for their other leathers. Can I just use a regular suede cleaner and suede brush? I also have my Ugg suede cleaner, would that work?
Hello. Most Coach bags are easily maintained. The price of the bag scares people into thinking they are super delicate! But quite the contrary. For your scarf print bag you can just use very mild soap and water on a damp cloth. For the fabric on your bucket tote, same thing. For the suede, use a nubic stone or suede brush first. Then you can try some suede cleaner if still needed. Use a good quality suede cleaner. Do not use the mild soap and water mixture or even just water on the suede.
