How much should a middle school girl spend on school supplies?
My niece's parents don't have the money or time to go back to school shopping with her. I decided I would take her as it is good practice for my child who is due in June 2011. This is her school supply list and how much total do you think I should spend on her? My neice has never gone back to school shopping before but I don't want to spoil her because I don't have that much money either.
1 two-inch three-ring binder-
2 packs of subject dividers with tabs-
2 packs of loose leaf notebook paper-
1 pack of graph paper-
continuous supply of #2 pencils-
continuous supply of blue or black ball point pens-
4 red ink pens-
1 pack of colored pencils-
1 box of crayons-
1 four pack of highlighters-
1 pack of lined index cards-
1 twelve inch ruler-
1 box of tissues-

Wow that's alot of stuff...... I would stay under 25 dollars.. Well maybe even less it depends what store your going to.. I would first look at some stores adds and see which ones are having the best sales on the stuff she needs then go from there...Just buy the stuff she needs not what she wants..
