What can I use instead of Luster Photo Paper?
Is there another name for "luster" photo paper, other than "pearl?" Maybe another great alternative?
The only other name for it i've heard is "semi-matte". Matte is something different, usually a little flatter, it tends to lack some of the contrast, but if i recall, it always tends to have a broader tonal range and less reflection.
Also, there's glossy - which has more contrast than semi-matte and matte, but tends to be highly reflective.
Also - there is both "fiber" surfaces and "resin-coated" (RC) for all the surface types, so make sure you are aware of both.
